Yes,..

Check the review of the software itself, as part of the 2100 review at:

Epson told me yesterday though that the US model (2200) will not be
able to print on CD's (only 2100 UK model). In compensation, the 2200
will have a removable cutter, which the 2100 will not have.

I'm not sure I understand the logic...<g>

Re: [Digital BW] Epson 2200 software

2002-07-13 by Sam A. McCandless

The review of the 2100 at the page Keith posted (below) is very
interesting. I think it will be even more so as it is updated.

I've heard that the gray-balancing software doesn't work with Apple's
Mac OS X (yet?). I don't doubt it. I didn't see anything to that
effect in the review. But I didn't notice anything at all about
platforms in the review, which I guess amounts to saying that it is
Windows-centric. But it has lots of interesting illustrated detail
that I expect applies to Mac use too.

Re: [Digital BW] Epson 2200 software

2002-07-14 by J Greer

The Epson UK Web site states the 2100 does have a paper cutter, which
conflicts with what the Epson rep said. Not saying that the Epson rep is
wrong, but that those of you in the UK might want to check this our before
you buy if a paper cutter is important to you.

The Epson North America Web site does not mention printing on CD/DVDs for
the 2200. So this matches what you heard.
