I was seeing the dreaded horizontal microbanding on my 1160
using Piezo inks and drivers. They did not disappear until I did
about two very precise head alignments. I have to redo an
alignment whenever I switch papers. It is my understanding that
Cone's updated drivers for the 3000 (v 5.1.3e) have slowed down
the already slow printing speed, but that this helps greatly with
wiping out any last remains of banding. On a quick test that I did
on a non-converted 3000 (ie, Epson color inks in it), I did not see
any banding on Epson Matte Heavyweight.
