Question for the archivists : mounting b/w negs

I'd like to mount the b/w negatives used for editioned images in individual slide mounts and would like some advice on how best to do this. Is there a general 'archival concensus' on whether or not to use glass slide mounts on b/w neg film? Plastic or metal mounts? There is a ton of information online about the proper storage of color films in mounts, but nothing (I can find) on b/w neg materials. Thanks in advance, Jamie. P.S.
