Digital BW, The Print

Hi, 
has anybody ever blended the "old" PiezoBW inks with MIS FS, 
and if yes, how did it perform?

Hi Bernd!

I slipstreamed the MIS FS in with the remainder of my old PiezoBW 
inks, and the results look fine. You can see for yourself, the next 
time we meet.

If you are at all concerned with the smoothness of your 
stepwedge/ramp, BE VERY CAREFUL.  The inks are different densities 
and they are in different positions.

The approx densities of MIS FS inkset are K=100, C=83, M=38, and 
Y=27.  The approx densities of the MIS-orig inkset are 100=100, 
75=96, 50=79, and 25=24.  (Yes, the original inkset labels are 
misleading).

These densities are ball park -- your mileage may vary.

Sorry for the mildly interesting but totally OT response. Monday 
morning confusion. <stupid smile>  The inkset densities are very 
similar to right on as mentioned by another member.
