Does anyone have a way to make a proof sheet or contact sheet to examine all of your negatives from a 35mm roll. I'm running windows with a Canon4000 scanner. Aside from scanning every frame, I hope I'm missing some easy efficient way. Thanks, Scott

I use a flat bed scanner for that. Just lay down all your negs in the holder and scan and then print out the contact sheet Vinny http://www.wulfsden.com --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@y..., "smichener" <smichener@y...> wrote: > Does anyone have a way to make a proof sheet or contact sheet to > examine all of your negatives from a 35mm roll. I use a tabloid sized Epson 836XL flatbed scanner to scan the entire sheets using the transparency adapter, of course. It works great, and is quite easy! Regards, Austin

Austin, Once you have then scanned, are you using any special program that can sort and file them as individual images? Thanks, Mark Maio Austin Franklin wrote:

Hi Mark, No, I simply store them as a single image, with a file name and in a folder, that is appropriately named... Regards, Austin

Hi all, Just got the exchange flower pictures. Again, there's some beautiful prints there. Just a couple of quick comments tonight, and tomorrow, I'll have a bit more to talk about. Several of you used the MIS VM and FS N inks, while a few used piezotone inks. To be honest, I couldn't see all that much difference in quality between them. The blacks looked about the same to me with all the inks used. They sure have improved since I started digital printing! Shilesh, you didn't include a data sheet, might I ask what camera/format you used for the lily? It was the sharpest digital print I've yet seen! Photo Rag and eclipse seem to be the 2 most beautiful papers, and the old standby EAM ain't chopped liver, either. More tomorrow. Jerry
