a challenge for the ladies, not OT ;-)

a challenge for the ladies, not OT ;-)

2002-09-02 by ruhrfoto

An outdoor patient of mine, who makes home brewed booklets
about his touristic enterprises - using Epson OEMs (dyes) -
mentioned to me the other day, that he uses ladies hair-spray
(gard ultra hair laque -or something like that) in order to protect
his prints against uv radation. He swears, they don´t fade in the
Mallorca-sun ( Spanish iland, for the US).
Makes sense to me, because some hair spray seems to content
uv-protectives, don´t they Myladies??

Anyone with similar experiences??
Julian??

Best
Bernd

I don't think Susana uses hairspray. A decent fixatif, I assume, but
I wouldn't trust the UV resistance.

Yes, I've heard some do Bernd, like skin care products, everything is UV
crazy... an interesting experiment but wouldn't the spray have to be very
controlled? is he using aerosol or pump.. ;-) Nina will love this one.. <g>

I just use my normal UV spray on epson dyes on glossy. My colour is mainly
for proofing/workprints and then output to Lambda.

Hear Hear! Hooray for monoculture, on the web and beyond! Is someone
doesn't know the proper English term for a place, they can certainly
look it up! Who's ever heard of Beijing or Mumbai? Where's my
colonial atlas? Why don't these people speak God's own language?
