Bob, If the budget allows, take a bunch of Ilford SFX (200 ASA, $6.50/36 shots) for all round use and mild IR if desired. Then some Ilford FP4+ or PanF for tripod work and Tmax 400 for low light or hand held. I like standard B&W film over the chromogenic films. My personal choice but there are thousands of options and opinions! Good shooting.
