CIS Reinstall

CIS Reinstall

2002-09-23 by Barbara White

Hi Group,

I'm reinstalling my CIS, cleaned it out last night. There are quite a
few bubbles of water left in the hoses, and even after hanging them
vertical all night, most are still there. Is this going to impact
anything when I put the inks in them? Or will it just go right through,
pushing out the water?

Thanks,

Barbara:

Probably not a problem, but you can either suck or blow air from your
syring to remove more of the water. I assume you are talking about
only the hoses. You can't fully clean out the cart and therefore
should not reuse it even if you use the same ink because the sponge
in the cart will hold lots of cleaning water.

Hope this helps.
