New CIS with Piezography Inks?

New CIS with Piezography Inks?

2002-09-23 by Barbara White

I'm planning on changing from Piezography inks to MIS FN due to the
greenies. The new cartridge and CIS is ready to go. However, being the
miserly type, I have to ask - now that I have a new cartridge, would it
be a good idea to put the Piezo inks right back and use them up first?
(There is about 1/2 bottle of ea. left!!). Or should I just forget it
and load it up with the MIS?

Any radical ideas would be appreciated!

Barbara,

don't mix inks. The carts have foams and such that retain ink.
Radical idea: buy blank carts and fill them with your old inks as a way to use
them up. Else, be prepared to change the CIS cart again (and wash the tubes)
if you use it first with the old piezo inks and then the MIS. We just don't know
for sure what's in the stuff.

Just an opinion...
