fao Paul - feedback on the revised 1290 Warm curve.

2002-09-26 by scrber

Hi Paul, er perhaps an appology.

I just reprinted the two step wedges with the two W curves you were
good enough to send me.

The W1 curve printed beautifully, the SBW1 curve was a little dark
and uneven - probably as your were trying to correct a corrupted
print/file/curve.

I guess that the previous scan I sent you had something horribly
wrong. Maybe blockages, maybe corruption - no idea. Only that the
NC, GS, C curves were fine whilst the W curve bombed. Now all seem
to be OK. Did you send me the original W1 curve???

Can't say what has changed, only that the original curve you sent me
has achieved the desired result.

Very sorry if some botch on my part put you out.

Thanks!!!!

Steve,

I had sent both the standard 1290 warm and one modified to fit your printer.
However, I suspect it was a nozzle problem, not the curves. At any rate,
I'm glad to hear that the system is now working with the standard curve.

Paul
