Well, I just wanted to pass on what Jon had to say since I thought a lot of
the members would be interested and people have been speculating if he would
provide a new black ink and when. I am willing to try his products on a case
by case basis, use the ones I like and pass on those that don't meet my
criteria. I haven't been shy with my opinions in the past, good or bad, but
until I actually get to try the new stuff, I will reserve judgment.

It is certainly not news that he has aggravated a large number of people. I
understand your feeling but I guess I have reached the point where if the
product works for me I will use it and not worry about who actually did
what. I can't figure it all out and the whole thing seems like a soap opera
at times. I guess this is one of the purposes of the list, to sort out the
good products and ignore the marketing.

I would keep pushing on getting some satisfaction out of InkJetMall on your
ink issue.

Sorry, Martin, with all respect;
this is all bullsh... as long as he doesn\ufffdt  address this issue in
publicity and guarantees a full money refund for all sold new
PiezoTone black ink or for the whole ink-set if desired.
I asked him for a credit note today because I\ufffdm not willing to
accept a replacement ink, which I can buy at MIS much cheaper
namely for 16$ an ounce instead of 44$ at inkjetmall.
Jon is rapidly loosing my admiration, because I begin to realize,
that he isn\ufffdt the great developer of ink and software he
suggested to be, but seems to be a great rebrander.

Martin, 
I want to make absolute clear, that I didn´t want to criticize the fact 
that you forwarded Jon´s statement. That is actually what I would 
have done too if I had been in your situation, no doubt.
What I wanted to criticize is the fact, that Jon hasn´t answered the 
concerns, which have been posted on this list and on the piezo 
list about the fading problem of his new black ink himself.
These are serious concerns, and all we have heard from him - at 
least so far - has been the sound of silence.
If I wasn´t able to express this clearly enough in my post, and you 
felt personally offended  - even to a small amount -, I apologize.
Please blame my clumsy English again and be sure that I´m 
proud to regard you as a personal friend of mine. Not that I 
regard it as prohibited to criticize a friend, but I would have done 
it offline if I had have a reason, that is for sure.
But I have had no reason! 
Your work as list moderator is just perfect (to say the least).

To illustrate these concerns a bit:
I have opened my first one man show three weeks ago with 
roundabout 60 inkjets up to ±25"x30" , more or less all of them 
printed with Jon´s inks. 
I got a rather good resonance. More than 20 people wanted to 
buy prints so far.
I refused to sell my so called "Carbon Pigment Prints", because I 
don´t want to damage my reputation.
Instead of selling I will give the prints away for free (as a 
reminder printed on a letter format) and beg the potential buyers 
to be patient until the day the fading problem will be resolved. 
How many of them will keep that in mind ?
