Epson 2450 Discontinued O.T.

In a email newsletter from Inkjetart.com they stated that the Epson 2450 scanner has been discontinued. They also said that all supplies of this scanner should dry up by the end of November. Does anyone know if Epson will be replacing the 2450 with another scanner in the same price range? Any details ? -Jeff
