The best place to find Paul Roark's curves for the 1280 is the MIS site at:

http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/workflow_roark.html

In the Files section of this group in folder:

Files > Ink Sets > MIS > MIS Variable Mix > 1280 PC MIS VM

You will find additional curves for the 1280 and MIS VM done by Tyler Boley.
Even though it says PC people have used them successfully with Mac systems.
These curves use different printer setting than Paul's curves.

In working with VM you will find it very helpful to have a wide range of
curves to work with as some do better with one image and other curves will
work more smoothly on another.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
