I definitely agree.  In fact, the high quality of the inkjet outputs have
caused me to go from my standard medium format Tmax 100 to medium format
Tech Pan to get rid of the grain of the Tmax.  Even on my 3000, the Tmax
grain was a real limiting factor.

I just received a 22 x 27 inch version of one of my Tech Pan shots that was
printed by David Thiel on his 9000 with the MIS VM inkset.  I'm happy to say
not only does the 9000 produce great prints, but the medium format Tech Pan
is essentially grainless even at that size.

try FP4 or even HP5 in 8x10 - basically grainless, wonderful smooth toned
prints printed on my 1160 with VM ...  :-)

I'm sitting here reading your posts and pining for my old B/W 
darkroom, which I lost when we moved. These days, 4x5 is as large as 
I go, and Polaroid PN55 at that (which gives a pretty nice negative 
at that). One day, perhaps I'll get a Jobo...

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
