I just attended an epson print academy, what a waste of time & money. I feel
like I was tricked into paying 40.00 for a 4 hour epson info mercial.
I would suggest everyone steers clear of this one.
By the way they had large print examples using ultrachromes by Gorman, Maisel
and others. I was very unimpressed. The b&w's looked weak and flat, I'm
hoping that the imageprint improves this, the color looked like the standard
epson pigs, flat once again.

I¹m almost positive the prints were NOT made though the ImagePrint RIP (I¹ll
ask Greg tonight).

My understanding is the Print Academy is really for amateurs with low end
desktop printers. I don¹t think it¹s geared towards the pro user at all. I
doubt one will come to my small town but I¹d kind of like to check it out.

Well, with nothing else to do next saturday (11/9) and a $10 discount
for registering early I will be going to the Epson Print Academy
travelling dog and pony show here in Houston. I am certainly
unskilled enough to gain something from it.
