GREaT NEWS for Linux USERS who do Graphics!! (monitor profiling is on its way)
2002-11-22 by Editor P.O.V. Image Service
We may finally SOON have a monitor profiling product available that RUNS in Linux.. Just got the latest newsletter from Colorvision and they are BETA testing a version of their product that works under Redhat 7.2 (currently).. That actually made my DAY! Soon, I should be able to use Linux with a profiled monitor and work in Corel Draw / Corel paint and have files match my monitor. This kind of availability could greatly help push companies like Adobe and JASC to port their photo editing packages to Linux.. We may finally see a comprehensive CMS system for Linux... ;-) Keith "Just some guy," and founder of the Multiverse's largest EPSON printer User Community (highly recommended by Vogon Poets and MegaDodo Publications), at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EPSONx7x_Printers/ "For the rest of you out there, the secret is to bang the rocks together guys" [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
