Digital BW, The Print

Question to all, though think maybe it will fall to Paul Roark on 
this one.

I've recently set up a 1280 with MIS Perpetuals.  It's my intent to 
have it profiled for greater accuracy in rendition.  My initial 
printings using color are nice but don't match the saturation that's 
on the screen...yes, I understand that paper choice, gamut space & 
inkset are factors.

But it raised the question in my mind.  If, when using MIS VM 
arrangement, we're converting to an RGBspace - what effect would 
profiling the printer in color, then setting up for Quad/Hex printing 
have?
