Epson pro5000

hi, I have been offered a used Epson stylus pro 5000. I wonder is this printer could be used with quad inks, piezo software or with Gen4 inks and how it works with them?. Is it a interesting printer? Or is better a new 1290 or 2100?. Any thoughts ? Best Aitor
