Digital BW, The Print

Hello All,

I have posted a new article in the series on Black And White Digital
Printing, making it #4 in the series.  When I revised #3 last week it
did two bad things:

- it made it more complicated, which went against its 
purpose of providing a simple and easy way to get started.

- it introduced new concepts without adequate explanations,
making it unsatisfying for anyone really wanting to learn more.

So I stripped out all the new stuff and made #3 much simpler, and
fleshed out the new material in a new article called "Using Color
Settings And Profiles".  It contains detailed explanations for all the
concepts.

Since I print with the Black Only method, I'm not sure to what degree
this material will be useful to people using Cone drivers, RIPs and
partioned workflows with special paper profiles.  I'd very much like
to hear from those users about this.
