Newbie question on use of wedges

Newbie question on use of wedges

2002-12-30 by Steve Rosenblum <stevierose@yahoo.com>

Hi folks-

I've been lurking in the forum for quite awhile and now have a newbie
question that I hope you can help me with. Where can I read
about/learn about testing my paper/ink combination using greyscale
wedges and how to work that into my workflow? Is there a place where I
can find a wedge file to use in my tests? I am using the 2200 with the
ImagePrint 5 rip on a Mac.

Any help will be most appreciated?

Thanks!

Thanks to those who have responded. I have downloaded the wedge file
and looked at Clayton Jones tutorials. Can anyone refer me to an
explanation of exactly how to use the wedge in a workflow to improve
my black and white output? I am a beginner at black and white
printing (though I am experienced with color printing) and really need
a step by step guide if it exists anywhere. I am using a 2200 with the
ImagePrint 5 RIP on a mac.

Thanks again!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
