I have not tried it but why not select the highlights using the magic wand or a threshold mask and apply the warm curve, apply the cool curve to the shadows and the neutral curve to the rest.

  Hello,

I just converted my Epson 1280 with a continuos flow system with the MIS
variable mix (VM) inkset. I've been using Paul Roark's curves and I've had
great success. Thanks Paul!! I would like to make a split tone effect
print (example: cool blacks and shadows with warm yellowish highlights)

  1. Does anyone have curves I could download for doing something like this?
I've snooped around a bit but haven't found anything.

  2. I want to purchase another 1280. Anyone had horror stories with a
factory refurbished Epson 1280? Places to avoid purchasing factory
refurbished printers? Places you would recommend?

  3. Anyone know if Epson will continue the $100 rebate on the 1280 this year?
Or will the lower the price? The rebate expired 12/31/02.

  Best regards,

  Forrest MacCormack
