Marti, why on earth wouldn't you want to print them yourself on an epson printer? You can make a 12x44 inch print on watercolor paper and using archival inks, that would be as good as any custom printmaker could do, for a 2-5 dollars each, depending on your choice of paper and inks. you can lower your ink costs by 80 percent if you get a CIS system, so it would cost you under a dollar to make a full color or black and white image on lettersize paper including the paper. Even if you got the most expensive papers (and there is really no reason to do that), you'd still be talking under $3.50 for a letter size print. What sizes are you thinking of? The Epson printer above is only about $400 (epson 1280). You can get a 24 inch model for about $2900. That would allow you to print 24 inches wide by nearly any length. Sure, you'd have to go through a learning curve, but think of the quality you'd get and the money you'd save!! Jerry Marti nelson wrote:
