Hi All, I'm new to the list and I just wanted to pose some difficult questions, I've got an Epson 3000 that I woould like to convert to Black and White, but there seem to be so many choices available. I have seen some great info on Paul Rorks site, but a quick visit to MIS left me confused as to which ink set is which, and what their capabilities are as far as colour control. If anyone can clarify I'd really appreciate it. Also and this one will fall into the exotic domain, I've go and SGI macfhine that I'm running as a RIP, just finished setting it up, and colour inks loaded. I'm using CUPS with Gimp print drivers so I've got effectively full postscript control, is anyone out there using this combo for Black and White?? What other options are available for black and white printing besides Piezography from Cone editions and the Sundance Inks and driver. I have seen mention of the IP5 driver in the first digest I have received, any links appreciated on this one.
