PS 6 vs. 7 user nuance Question

PS 6 vs. 7 user nuance Question

2003-01-20 by Cleavis <lyonscox@cableone.net>

I've got PS6 & 7 running on my Win98 just fine (got 7 as part of
package for upcoming class...didn't really seek it out).

In 6 when using keyboard zoom (crtl+alt+ either + -) the window would
expand to the point of the pallete and then the image window would
stop and the image could continue to enlarge. In PS7 the image and
window is going behind my palletes.

I would like to know if anyone has set their PS7 to function like PS6
in this way. I used to think it was annoying but found out I've come
to really like it that way.

Thanks,
Cleavis

I had the same problem until somebody helped me out. My problem was that my
toolbox on the left was over "one pixel too far" (trying to get as much real
estate out of my small monitor!!). Try moving it one pixel to the right,
then retry opening a file to see if the problem goes away. If not, try
moving it one more. This fixed my problem. If it doesn't work by moving
the toolbox, check your palettes next.

Doug,

Thanks...that did it!! I pulled the palletes apart (I had custom
stacked them) and put them back together as small as they would go
then tucked them into the upper right corner. Then edged them out
couple of pixels at a time.

Thanks again.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
