Take a look at the MIS VM quad or hex inks. Substitute the MIS VM black
for the enhanced black from generations 4
from media street. It is a deeper black.

Lyson SG are fine, but have excessive metamerism.

Jerry,
I've read reports here of incessant clogging with MIS VM inks. Have you
experienced this? I've been very lucky with my 1200/Gen4 NMC CIS printer.
I've used that combo for about 3 years now with very few clogs, even when
leaving the printer idle for long periods. I guess it helps to live in the
humid southeast.

Lloyd

Hi Lloyd,

Never had a serious clog with VM inks in the 5 years I've been using
them. Nothing more than normal.

Lloyd, I have been using MIS VM inks in a 1200 for almost a year now
with NO excessive clogging. If I don't print for a week it takes no
more than 1 head cleaning to get perfect nozzle checks
