Need help with a new VM setup

So I got my 1160's CIS system and VM inks. But, I think I'm having a problem. I got rid of all the banding etc after what seemed like a million purge prints, and moved on to my first few test prints. And, well, I was not impressed. Hmm, why is that? It took me a while, then I did a test print similar to Paul's Grand Teton shot on his website (the one where he's got 4 images side-by-side with the different curves applied), and well, while there were differences between the prints, they were ALL VERY cold. The neutral looked similar to Paul's cold (on the Teton's shot), and the warms never left the "cold" zone either. Everything was cold, it was only a matter of how cold. So, I tried a few other prints, and I'm still in the same problem. Everything is coming out ice cold. Is this a workflow problem? I've got all the images in RGB mode, and I'm printing through the Epson driver. When the image is ready to print, I apply an adjustment curve and load the selected curve, then hit print. In the Epson driver I've chosen these settings: Color ink Photo Paper (for Ilford Classic Pearl) Photo 1440dpi ICM Am I missing a step or is something else out of line? Thanks for the help!!
