For color prints I find that the IP profiles are slightly more accurate than the Atkinson ones, particularly in having better shadow detail. On the other hand some people have stated that the Atkinson profiles have more saturation, but if that is the case, it is easily fixable with a printer targeting adjustment in Photoshop, which is something one should in any case use. [Also, IP version 5.5 with "Wide Gamut Technology" may improve the blacks and saturation.] 2. For B&W prints the IP grayscale profiles print spot-on neutral prints, with the ability subtly to "tone" the prints with IP's TintPicker facility. --Mitch/Potomac, MD
