Inkjet Control Software release and MIS/Inksupply?
2003-03-27 by Jean-Marc Humbert
Is this just a coincindence? Picked up from http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm? source=html/new_prod.html : "Software for Making B&W Prints Soon we will have a new software package for making B&W Prints. It will initially be for Mac computers only. It will push out the envelope on the B&W print technology. We are very excited about this software. Price will be under $200, and it will work with the popular printers (Epson 1160, 890, 1280, 7000, 9000). It has the ability to make paper profiles and will use 6 inks for making variable tone prints ranging from full sepia to cool or anywhere in between. It will be a stand alone package, not a Photoshop plug in. Paper-Ink profiles will be available on our site for use by our customers at no charge. This has been under development for over a year, and should appear on our site before June 2003. This will make professional B&W printing much easier." Do we speak about the same? Seams that Jon Cone and his so awaited new PiezographyBW software should hurry up! JM Humbert Paris, France
