Digital BW, The Print

I have never posted to this group but am a lurker and hopefully a learner.
By the way, Jim, what a wonderful quote.   As I am considering buying a
digital camera I was wondering what anyone's experience has been with either
the Kodak DCS Pro 14 N  (if it can be found) or the Nikon DIX.    I would be
new to digital shooting.  In terms of printing I use the piezography system
with 1160's and a  1280.  (Both neutral and sepia)  Computer set-up - MAC G3
with O.S. 9.04/Photoshop 5.5  (I should probably up-grade but my motto tends
to be "if it ain't broke........)  Any suggestions or guidance would be
greatly appreciate.  Siobhan
