Replacement for the Epson 3000?

Replacement for the Epson 3000?

2003-06-06 by Jon

There has been talk on the wide format list about a replacement for the
3000. I inquired with Epson but haven't received an answer. I emailed
Digital Art Supply and they responded:

I have heard that the are indeed coming out with a
printer to replace to Epson 3000. With the same
ultrachrome technology. I don't have an exact time
when it might be coming out but I think its somewhere
in August. Thanks for your time.

Any one else heard anything?

Funny that we were just corresponding about this exact machine... I'm
keeping my fingers crossed--I'd really like to be able to do 16x20's at
home. IJC/OPM and this machine (Model 3200?) might be a killer.

Ach! We've been discovered! However, I am going to sell/pawn/foist this iMac
on someone here shortly--I think you can fit it there in your house. Just
move those three PCs and seven printers over and you'll have just enough
space. :)
