Mamiya 645e and Epson 3200

Hi Manuel I'm pretty much doing just that, except I'm using the previous model scanner, the 2450. I have been very happy indeed. That scanner is surely not up to the Nikon 8000, Minolta Multi Pro, etc., but it has nothing to apologize for. I get terrific results with the bundled limited Silverfast, and I'm just about to pony up for Vuescan. Paul makes excellent points about the camera -- it's a beast, and you'll definitely benefit from a serious tripod. Lock up the mirror and use a cable release when you can. But it's a sweet camera at a fantastic price and it uses the Mamiya non-AF lenses, so you have plenty to pick from. As long as you're not looking to use it for snapshots, I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed. Good luck and let us know, Matthew Born
