Most screen resolutions produce square pixels if the display aspect ratio is
4:3 (the usual case).  There are a few exceptions, the most notable of which
is 1280x1024.

That's about all you can do, if you really want to stay at that resolution.

Flat panels don't really know what the horizontal resolution is, if the
usual analog connection to the video card is used, so I don't see how they
can make any automatic adjustments.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
