Digital BW, The Print

I'm currently in the market for a printer dedicated to b/w (Lyson, MIS etc) 
and am considering secondhand models of the Epson 750/1200, 870/1270 and 
860/1160. The 870/1270 seems to be generally more available than the other 
two but I would be grateful for any comments or observations, pros and cons 
on any of the printers mentioned with my b/w usage in mind.

I've been using a factory refurb 870 for over a year and it has been
great.  I download the latest driver from the Epson web site, which
was an improvement.  You should look for that, whichever model you
get.
