Roy Harringron Exhibit

Roy Harringron Exhibit

To all of the San Francisco area members, I strongly urge you to go and see
the Roy Harrington exhibit at:

Gallery House
320 California Ave.
Palo Alto, CA 94306
650-326-1668

Roy met me at the gallery and gave me a personal tour. He picked up a lot of
well-deserved compliments while I was there. Really wonderful images that
you should all come and see. The prints are gorgeous and represent the very
best of what can be done with inkjet for B&W printing.

My favorite is a shot of buttes and mountains fading into the distance of a
rainstorm in several steps. The delicacy of this tonal progression is
something that would have been next to impossible with inkjet a couple of
years ago but Roy rendered it flawlessly! For those out there wondering if
digital printing is “good enough” this show is a must see!

The show will be up through July 26th so get on over there!

Is this where Printers Inc. used to be?

Thanks.

Thanks, Martin.

One note about the Gallery is that the entrance is through the Printers Ink Cafe.
The hours are pretty convenient:
        Tues, 11am - 5pm and Wed-Sat, 11am - 9pm.

The images are all from a recent road and backpacking trip through southern
Utah: Zion, Escalante, Capitol Reef, and Grand Gulch. They are some of my
favorite areas to explore and photograph.
