INK COLOR EQUAL TO IT'S SHADE COUNTERPART?

I HAVE RECENTLY EXPLORED B&W DIGITAL PRINTING USING MIS QUADTONE 6 (SIX) INK CARTRIDGES...I SOON DISCOVERED THAT IT HAS TO FOLLOW A WORKFLOW DESIGNATED ON THE MIS WEB PAGE...I BOUGHT THE REFILL KIT AND FOUND OUT THAT THE INKS WERE NOT DESIGNATED TO THEIR PROPER SHADE COUNTERPART...IN OTHER WORDS, THE INKS CAME AS FOLLOWS: 100% BLACK, 75%, 50%, 45%, 25% AND 15% BLACK...ONE WOULD THINK THAT THE LIGHTEST SHADE OF BLACK WOULD BE ASSIGNED TO THE LIGHTEST SHADE OF COLOR INK...THIS IS NOT SO...YELLOW, THE LIGHTEST COLOR, IS ASSIGNED TO 50% BLACK...GO FIGURE...NO WONDER THERE IS ALL OF THIS TALK ABOUT WORKFLOW AND SOFTWARE TO RUN THESE INKS, WHEN IN REALITY ALL ONE HAS TO DO IS REARRANGE INK DESIGNATION...SO THIS IS WHAT I DID...100% BLACK BELONGS TO THE BLACK CARTRIDGE WHICH IS CORRECT...75% BLACK BELONGS TO BOTH CYAN AND MAGENTA BECAUSE THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME COLOR GRAY...50% BLACK WENT TO PHOTO CYAN...45% BLACK WENT TO PHOTO MAGENTA...25% BLACK WENT TO YELLOW...FILLING THESE INKS TO THE ABOVE DESIGNATIONS ALLOWED ME TO PRINT A COLOR PHOTOGRAPH DIRECTLY WITH 1 (ONE) EXCEPTION...I HAD TO MAKE THE IMAGE ON THE MONITOR TO BE LIGHTER ON "IMAGE-ADJUST-LEVELS" MIDDLE SLIDER TO THE NUMBER "180"...UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS AFTER ANY ADJUSTMENTS YOU HAD TO DO TO YOUR IMAGE TO GET IT THE WAY YOU LIKE IT ON THE SCREEN...FROM THAT POINT START OUT FRESH TO "IMAGE-ADJUST-LEVELS" AND PROCEED AS I HAVE DESCRIBED ABOVE..GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK AS TO YOUR RESULTS...OH, BY THE WAY, I HAVE ALSO FIGURED OUT ANOTHER WAY TO PRINT FROM GRAYSCALE...I WILL GIVE THAT VERY EASY "WORKFLOW" TOMORROW...PLEASE, GIVE ME FEEDBACK...MY PRINTS LOOK GREAT AND I DO HAVE A DARKROOM...
