Did we get anywhere wrt a UK Print Exchange?

2003-08-02 by garethlock4472

Remember reading about the possibilty of a UK print exchange starting
up but nothing came of it (or if it did I missed it!).

So what is the status of the possible exchange?

Gareth

I floated the idea a few months back but there was not a great deal
of interest. However I would still be interested even if its just
the two of us!

I am away on holiday from today for a couple of weeks but if everyone
that wants to participate registers their interest on this forum I
will contact them all when I get back and arrange the details.

Cheers

Martin

any luck with piezotones and colorlife?

2003-08-08 by D. Hill

Hi all,

As I am travelling - and to a town that is large
enough to stock printing supplies none the less, I've
got a question.

Is anyone using piezotones with epson's colorlife
paper? I seem to recall this paper working quite well
with the 2000p, but my concerns are with bronzing and
dusting.

Thanks in advance,
Don

I would be happy to join you, even not from UK. I guess Netherlands
is not that far and we can call it European print exchange :-)

Anyway I am off to holiday for 3 weeks, but I will be back in
September.

Don;

It is my understanding that colorlife paper is NOT to be used with
pigment inks. It was designed to give extended print life with dye inks
in such printers as the Epson 1280. I think if you explore the Epson
web site you can confirm this.
