With QuadToneRip what is the first step to profile 1160/Piezotone

Ok...I read and read all the docs with QuadToneRip and still not sure where to start! With QuadToneRip what is the first step to profile 1160/Piezotone with PhotoRag? Do I do the "Hardware Ink Limit Calibration" test first? I don't have a densitometer so will be doing all by eye. The 1160_fs file is close but lacks midtone separation. Thanks! John V
