Allotting memory to PS7

2003-08-19 by Mr_Misty_44

Could someone be so kind as to let me know how I allott memory to
Photoshop 7 using OS9.2.2. I know how to do it under Windows 98 but
I'm having a problem with it under OS9.2.2 as well as 10.2.6

John,

under OS 9 in the finder, you highlight the PS ikon (not any alias of it) go to
file>get info>use the dropdown menu to get to the memory info. Type the
amount you wish in the box there.
PS must not be running for this to work.

Edit Menu------>Preferences----->Memory&Image Cache----->

You will see a section called Memory Usage. You can set the maximum
amount of memory to be used by Photoshop in terms of % of total
memory available on your system.....

the MacEpsonList ( was Re: [Digital BW] Allotting memory to PS7)

Not that John shouldn't have asked or others shouldn't have answered
on this list, but just so everyone knows, there is, also on Yahoo,
the MacEpsonList which is useful for questions like John's.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
