Any tips on QuadtoneRIP on Linux

I am running an Epson 2100 and am in the process of creating a dual boot system with Linux so I can use the QuadtoneRIP. I am still intending on using the Epson Ultrachrome inks but am hoping for more neutral black and white. Does anyone have any tips on setting up the system? Many thanks
