Image variance with UT inks

Image variance with UT inks

2003-09-08 by coovert1900

It seems that the quality of the image depends on the gradiation of
tones of the original photo. I can print a daytime with a ncw Roark
curve and everything if ok....but putting the same curve on a night
shot with street lights does not work....I am thinking of switching
to an inkset that I can print directly from the grayscale image.
Piezography?....Is it possible to have a profile created so I can use
the UT inks withour converting to RGB and not using a curve...I
understand that any variable control would be lost...Thanks, Robert
