Levels vs. Curves - hidden feature of levels

Just a note.
One thing I haven't seen mentioned in this discussion is a hidden feature of Photoshop 6 & 7.
When using Levels if an end point slider is moved while the Alt key (Windows) is depressed only the areas being changed are shown.

Thanks for the reminder! That is one of the many great little tools in PS
that I tend to forget about. This makes Levels very good for setting the B&W
points since you can see exactly what in the image might be getting clipped
as you move the sliders in toward your data.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
