I think that one might be better off using  many adjustment layers 
instead of many single adjustments (talking 8 bit files here).

By using adjustment layers only one render will take place instead of 
multiple rerendering of the image.

What I  don't know for sure is whether the final result will be 
different using the two techniques. I expect a better result from the 
multiple adjustment layer approach.

If you are just using one adjustment layer, I don't believe there would 
be any advantage in that approach vs. one curves correction.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
