No ink coming out from CIS...??? Help?

No ink coming out from CIS...??? Help?

2003-11-08 by Lyons Cox

First, my printer has performed wonderfully for me for over a year.

Then I had an unusual color shift but still was getting good nozzle checks.
Turns out part of the light magenta was clogged but not all, as shown by printing a color cone.

So I took the carts off and cleaned that part of the intake nozzles for the printer head.
Well, while doing that, I think I lost my suction in the carts beyond recovery ( I have recovered in the past), so I ordered some new carts and reinstalled this evening. Got good vacuum action but I am not getting any ink out???

Ideas?

Thanks,
Cleavis

will search the archive in the meantime. Didn't see anything at Inkjetart that would address it.

Go to MIS website www.inksupply.com. Read and then follow their
section about what to do if your CIS doesn't work (even if it's
someone elses)It's very good.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
