MIS Ultra Tone fade data

MIS Ultra Tone fade data

2003-12-01 by Paul Roark

MIS has put some fade data on its web page that might be of interest. See

http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/utfadedata.html

The data is basically consistent with my findings. The carbon inks are
extremely lightfast. The color pigments fade faster than the carbon, and
the very dilute inks tend to fade faster. (Pigments in little piles
protect each other relative to isolated pigment particles.)

While I can't avoid color pigments except in the pure carbon inksets, UT-2
avoids the very dilute inks.
