No, Owen, it is I who should apologize for letting a situation get the
better of me. I'm glad you got your answer(s), and hope that we all do in
the future. It won't happen again from me.

Ok, not to sound like Rodney King, but "can't we all just get along?"

Look, I've been a hothead at times in the past, but I don't have any
desire to go through these endless onlist personal attacks on all
sides... Sitting back and watching the CJ/Atkielski harangues was
enough of a lesson in seeing how disturbing these are to the vast
majority of listmembers..

I've given my apology before for acting like a jerk onlist. Here
perhaps there was a misunderstanding.. Obviously some believe I think
rather highly of myself, trust me, quite the opposite is true if you ask
anyone who actually knows me. Unfortunately, my bluntness, directness,
and wry sarcastic sense of humor, is misinterpreted by some in reading
my posts (sometimes things read differently from a distance than they
were intended when written, and sarcasm as humor is problematical via
e-mail). I don't hold grudges against anyone I disagree with onlist. I
don't enjoy spending my time arguing (If I did, the whole CJ/Atkielski
business would have found me in the fray).. As for products I call them
as I see them, people are free to disagree, and I've been wrong in the
past, and doubtless will be in future.. On the other hand, it's not
enjoyable to have your posts attacked out-of-hand.. Suffice it to say
hackles may also have been up given how the Tri-X discussion went..

If someone felt I was attacking them personally, I apologize as well.

Let's just forget this whole unfortunate business and move forward...
