Digital BW, The Print

Has anyone tried ebony black with piezotones, especially the selenium 
set? If so, how does it look?

I use a 1280 with Eboni and Selenium Piezotones.  I
cannot see any difference between Eboni and Museum
Black.  I do not use the current ICC system but the
R9/Piezography driver.

That is the set up I have been running on a 1280. Works fine and looks
great. I switched to MIS-FSN black in the Fall of 2002 when we found out the
PiezoTone Black Black was not holding up and when that ran out awhile back I
switched over to Eboni.

Paul says it he believes Eboni is the same ink as the PiezoTone Museum
Black. I have some of this coming in my Piezo upgrade order (which will no
doubt come someday.<G>) When I get it set up in a second 1280 I will be able
to do a side by side comparison and I will post results with density
readings.
