Subject: [Digital BW] switching pk to mk under osx?

Hi,
I've been lurking for a while & appreciate all the advice & help on this
list.. I need a 
question answered-searched the archives but couldn't find the answer.I'm
sure it's 
been discussed ad nauseum........


what needs to be done to switch back & forth between Photo & Matte Black
under Mac 
OSX?.I've heard it said that you need to delete,then re-install the driver?
everytime? 
seems extreme.....as it is,I get a "printer stopped" error msg. upon
switching.Re-
booting the Mac & turning the printer on/off doesn't seem to get it.

Really? Unless I go through the delete/add routine in the Printer Setup
Utility, Photoshop (or any other program except the Epson printer
utility) fails to recognize that I've swapped inks. I'm using the
Firewire connection (G5, Panther 10.3.2), Epson driver v. 1.63
