Vs: [Digital BW] Septone Ink Fade Test

2004-01-03 by Ukko Heikkinen

Hello Clayton

"The Septone/PhotoRag print of the Tech Print Exchange image has been
on my south facing windowsill for 125 days now, getting some direct
sunlight every day, as well as very bright indirect daylight all day."

I'd appreciate it very much if you let me know where you live and how long the days are over there.

I live in south Florida. Right now the daylight is about 10.5 hours
(sun rises at 7:10 am, sets at 5:41 pm). My front window faces south
with an awning over the window, so the only direct sun on the prints
occurs in the morning and afternoon when it peeks in under the awning.
Back in August when the test began, the sun's arc was higher and the
amount of direct sun was small. As we passed the fall equinox and the
arc began to decrease, the amount of direct sun increased (because the
sun could peek in under the awning for longer periods), even though
the days became shorter.

Regards,
Clayton
