I'm no lawyer, but my Epson 1290 Instruction book says that "Epson shall not
be liable for any damage or problems arising from the use of any options or
any consumable products other than those designated as Original Epson
Products or Epson Approved products by Epson".

Seems clear to me, but no doubt it would keep an army of lawyers in business
for a year or two.

Do you mean to tell us that MIS, InkjetMall, Lyson and others are
knowingly selling third party inks which violate the warranty on
Epson printers ?

Also, to make such assertions, you surely must have some legals basis
and jurisprudence to back up those claims. What are they ?
