The reason I kept the toner as light as possible -- being just able to hit neutral at 90% on my 1160 -- was an attempt to hold down the metamerism. The first "non-warm-shifting" inkset I mixed ended up with a really bad case of the dreaded "M." That's why I never let it see the light of day, so to speak. The third version is in the fader as we speak. (So far it has achieved the lowest fading of any quad I've yet tested and less than half the warm shift of MIS VM, and it prints with the same curves.) I'm also trying to get the materials for some different approaches before anything is released. So, metamerism is an issue I'm aware of, but I can't say that I'll be able to solve it completely and also accomplish the other goals. A reasonable compromise of defects may be the best hope with current materials. Paul
